Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript aligns with the journal’s editorial focus and scope.
  • The thematic delimitation and the adopted approach demonstrate originality, relevance, and substantive contribution.
  • The submitted content is not under review by any other journal simultaneously.
  • The text is written with clarity, cohesion, and linguistic accuracy, free from grammatical or orthographic inconsistencies.
  • The title precisely reflects the scope and subject matter addressed in the article.
  • The structure, formatting, and methodological procedures fully comply with the Author Guidelines (ABNT).
  • The submitted file is in Microsoft Word format (.doc).
  • The article includes a comprehensive, up-to-date literature review directly related to the topic under investigation.
  • The author’s reflections, analyses, and contributions are substantive, avoiding excessive reliance on lengthy quotations from other sources.
  • The content adheres to ethical principles, avoiding prejudice, defamation, slander, or any form of violation of the integrity of readers or individuals mentioned.

Author Guidelines

For manuscripts to be considered for review, they must be fully compliant with the Template (author guidelines) provided by the journal, which serves as a structural reference for text organization and ensures adherence to editorial standards from the initial submission stage.

The formatting of the manuscript must strictly follow the following specifications: Arial font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing. Each article may include up to six authors; any exceptional situations must be communicated to the editorial team in advance.

Articles must present a title in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, accompanied by a resumo and palavras-chave; abstract and keywords; resumen and palabras clave. The total number of keywords should range from four to six terms, and they must not duplicate expressions already present in the title. The main text must be written in one of the three languages accepted by the journal: Portuguese, Spanish, or English.

Grammatical and orthographic revision of the manuscript and its abstracts, including those written in foreign languages, is mandatory and must be performed by a qualified professional, with all related costs being the responsibility of the authors. Additionally, each manuscript must include at least one author holding a master’s or doctoral degree.

Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the journal’s online submission system. To access the system, authors must first complete a registration procedure with a login and password.

The complete article file, including references and appendices, must not exceed 20 pages.

The abstract must contain between 150 and 250 words, clearly presenting the study’s objective, method, and conclusions. It must be written as a single paragraph in the third person and may not include citations, formulas, equations, symbols, or uncommon abbreviations, except when strictly necessary.

The information for all authors (in the order in which they will appear in publication) must be provided at the time of submission, including: first name, last name, e-mail address, ORCID iD, institutional affiliation, and a short biographical note of up to 50 words.

Articles resulting from funded research must indicate this information in the Acknowledgements section at the end of the manuscript.
