Author Guidelines

1. GUIDELINES FOR PUBLICATION

1.1. For article submission, it is essential that the manuscript to be reviewed is in accordance with the Template (author guidelines) provided by the journal. This template serves as the fundamental structure for authors to organize their articles according to the established guidelines, facilitating the submission process and ensuring that the texts are properly formatted from the outset.

1.2. Manuscripts submitted for publication will undergo desk review and Double Blind Review processes. The reviews will be sent to the author(s) for their information and any necessary revisions. For more information, please refer to the "Peer Review Process" section.

1.3. The text formatting must follow these parameters: Arial font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing. The maximum number of authors per article is six. If this number is exceeded, please contact the editorial team.

1.4. The article must include: title in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, as well as abstract, keywords; resumen, palabras clave; abstract, keywords. Between 4 to 6 keywords should be inserted, which should not appear in the title.

1.5. The body of the text must be written in one of the three permitted languages (Portuguese, Spanish, or English).

1.6. For articles to be accepted, authors are required to provide a grammatical review of the text and abstracts (including in foreign languages), carried out by a professional with experience in the field. The costs of this review are the responsibility of the authors.

2. AUTHOR QUALIFICATION

Articles submitted for publication in the journal must include at least one author with a Master's or Doctorate degree. This requirement ensures the scientific excellence and academic rigor of the published works, ensuring that the research is conducted and evaluated by highly qualified experts in their respective fields of knowledge.

3. LANGUAGES

Articles may be submitted in Portuguese, Spanish, or English.

4. REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION

4.1. Article proposals for publication in the Revista REPIS must be submitted exclusively through the electronic submission system available on this platform. Before that, registration is required, using a login and password, which can be done through this link.

4.2. Once logged into the platform, the author must click on "Make a New Submission" and follow five steps:

4.3. Step 1: Start
The author must select the submission language, confirm that the manuscript meets the required criteria, and agree to the storage of the data to be entered.

4.4. Step 2: Manuscript Upload
In this step, TWO files must be uploaded: one containing the article without the authors' names, marked as "article text," and another containing only the names and data of the authors.

4.5. Step 3: Enter Metadata
Titles, abstracts, and keywords must be provided in Portuguese, English, and Spanish in the indicated fields during submission;
The abstract must contain between 150 and 250 words, highlighting the objective, method, and conclusions of the work. The abstract text, written in a single paragraph and in the third person, should be free of direct or indirect citations, unusual symbols or abbreviations, and formulas or equations, except when absolutely necessary;
The data of all authors (in the order they will be published) must be provided: first name, last name, email, ORCID id, affiliation institution, and a short bio with brief professional information (maximum of 50 words);
The keywords (up to six) should represent the content of the article (in the three languages already indicated). Please note that these keywords should follow the DECs - Descriptors in Health Sciences.

4.6. Step 4: Confirmation
Confirm the submission completion.

5. ARTICLES RESULTING FROM FUNDED RESEARCH

Articles originating from funded research projects must indicate, in the ACKNOWLEDGMENTS section at the end of the article, information regarding the research funding.

6. COPYRIGHT STATEMENT

6.1. No copyright or any other remuneration will be due for the publication of the works.

6.2. The authors retain copyright and grant the Revista REPIS the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, which allows sharing the work with acknowledgment of authorship and initial publication in this journal. Additionally, as this is a public access journal, the articles are free to use, with appropriate credits, for educational and non-commercial applications.

6.3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to publish and distribute their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their personal website) at any time before or during the editorial process, as this can lead to productive exchanges, as well as increase the impact and citation of the published work.

7. AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITIES

7.1. Authors are responsible for the published content, committing to actively participate in the discussion of the results of their scientific research, as well as in the process of reviewing and approving the final version of the work.

7.2. Authors are responsible for the conduct, results, and validity of all scientific investigation.

7.3. Authors must inform the journal of any conflict of interest.

7.4. The opinions expressed by the authors in the articles are their sole responsibility.

7.5. By submitting the article, the author attests that all statements contained in the manuscript are true or based on research with reasonable accuracy.
